Dear Friends and Family,
I am writing to ask for your prayers and support for my husband, Billy Gotcher. Last year, Billy had a heart attack and subsequently developed Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). His heart has weakened to the point that his only chance for survival is a heart transplant. He is currently waiting for that transplant to take place at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Although Billy has Medicare and insurance, we are facing many uninsured transplant-related expenses. Once transplanted, the expenses will continue in the form of medications, co-pays, and doctor visits to ensure the continued health of Billy and his precious “gift of life”.
To help with this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Billy’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF), a non -profit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All donations are tax deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the South-Central Heart Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution.Billy feels very blessed with loving and supportive family and friends who help in so many ways. Your prayers and contributions are truly treasured and will help us through this difficult time.

Thank you and God bless,

Dear Billy,
I am so sorry to hear about your heart, not surprised, but saddened. You have the Gotcher heart for sure. Gene, Gay & I will be praying for you. We lost Carel several months ago. Much love,
