We are starting this fundraiser in hopes of raising enough for an accessible vehicle, lift, and modifications.

Donae’s independence is very important to her. She is, and has always been, unstoppingly determined to make as much progress as possible.

Donae’s journey of starting over and persevering began in 2007. Shortly after graduating high school she was in a car accident that resulted in her becoming a C4 quadriplegic. From ICU & several surgeries, to rehabilitation at The Courage Center to home, Donae has made tremendous progress. Through everything she has remained her same loving, caring, giving, sassy self. Her and her family have done their best over the last 11 years to keep up with all of the needs that have come with such an injury, without ever asking for help!

A few weeks ago the lift in Donae’s accessible van went out for the last time. The repairs on the lift on such an old vehicle are not logical at this point. A new vehicle would also give her the opportunity to learn to drive. The idea of a new challenge to master is really exciting and the opportunity for even more independence is something she truly deserves!
