I desperately need your help.
Over the years I have suffered from many health issues, including diabetes and heart trouble. My long history of health problems has led to my need for a kidney. I am asking family and friends to join me in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with finances associated with my kidney transplant from Duke University Hospital-Durham, North Carolina.
I have been approved to receive a kidney and am currently on the waiting list for one. However, the financial cost of surgery is greater than expected. Although I receive Medicare and Medicaid the anticipated out of pocket expenses for my transplant is $5,000.
I have always tried to live a positive life by helping and encouraging others. Despite the health challenges I face, I have managed to see life in a hopeful way. My kidneys are functioning at 10% and I am need of your help.
Donations to Help Hope Live can go a long way to help ease the financial burden my family will face, and this will allow me to focus on my recovery.
Family and friends of Connie McNeal are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Connie has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
