Bobby’s long battle with his liver has reached a critical point. He is now in liver failure and needs a transplant to survive. We’re asking family and friends to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses Bobby will face immediately after surgery, including the cost of lodging near the transplant center where he is required to stay for a minimum of 60 days following his discharge from the hospital.
Bobby is a loving father and grandfather. He is always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. But now he needs your help. His body is fighting a hard battle. His heart and cancer only make his struggles more difficult as his liver fails.
While Bobby has Medicaid insurance, many expenses are not covered, such as the monthly anti-rejection medications he needs to take for the life of his new liver. Bobby has been told to anticipate upwards of $5,000 per month for medications alone.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow Bobby to focus on a healthy recovery.
Bobby and his family have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
