In May of 2018 Tony went into the local Emergency Room because he felt odd and his wife Debbie noticed something just wasn’t right. Upon an examination it was determined that he had a stroke and he was admitted. His condition declined and he became unresponsive for a week.
None of us would have ever thought that 4 months later he would still be in he hospital. Turned out that Tony had been having small strokes for the past year or so, and since May has had 30+ additional strokes. His journey has been arduous as doctors tried to determine and arrest the cause.
He has been in Bronson hospital, PIP Rehab Center, Mary Free Bed Rehab, St. Mary’s hospital, and has now moved into a skilled nursing facility. It took months for doctors to figure out what was causing all these strokes but it has been diagnosed that Tony has vasculitis in the brain. An extremely rare disease. The disease has had catastrophic affects to the cognitive area of Tony’s brain. He has most gross motor skills but lacks balance. He has some speech of a word or two and requires lengthy rehabilitation with speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. His medical treatment continues while the family hopes and prays for care and studies through U of M.
Anybody who knows Tony knows he loves to cook, watch sports, and play golf. Please keep Tony in your prayers in hopes we get him back in the kitchen cooking up new recipes he’s found to enjoy with his family.
Tony’s road back will be difficult and expensive. A fund has been set up to help Tony and his family with medical bills and expenses. Please consider a donation through the non-profit organization of HELP HOPE LIVE. You can make that donation through Helphopelive.org Any amount will help bring our beloved Tony back to us. It is tax deductible to the extent the law allows as well.
Family and friends of Tony Crosariol are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.
Tony has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Tony's condition has deteriorated in the past month or so. His family is extremely supportive but the COVID19 has affected their financial position. Please keep them in your prayers and generosity. Posted 6/1/2020
