My name is Sofia Carpenter, I am outgoing, high spirited, enjoy adventure (seize the moment), ambitious woman of God. My faith is what keeps me going, I have dreamed, lived and loved in my life. I seek opportunities like driving my own handicap accessible van. My old van died 3 and half years ago, but the cost is high and I didn’t know about Help Hope Live then. But thanks to Help Hope Live, I can fundraise while I keep my medical insurance.

On Giving Tuesday, we raised $300 of $200. Thank you to all who supported me. It takes a strong community to make a fundraiser successful. My cousin Stephanie raised $505 of $500!!! You all have helped me beyond my wildest dreams. You helped bring HOPE that we are getting closer to driving a accessible van that I can drive and achieving more independence.
I’m reaching out to you for further assistance in end of the year giving. Please, donate $5, $10 or $15 today. Every bit counts.

Thank you for joining us on the Giving Tuesday. Today is a day to celebrate kindness and to share it with others in need of person-centered giving approach. I am raising money for a accessible van that I can drive from my wheelchair. It will give me more independence to get to my doctor appointments, church, school, internship or to hang out with friends. In 2021, I will be graduating with my degree in social work, I want to give back to my community just like they supported me.
My cousin Stephanie Pratt raised $505 in the 50K mile run challenge recently. You can also make a donation on Facebook, where we are raising $200 or text to donate “van4sofia” to 76278. Every bit counts.
