Sonia’s battle with kidney disease has come to a critical point. Our mother is now in kidney failure and needs a transplant to survive. We’re asking everyone to join us in donating for the non-profit Help Hope Live in order to help with critical expenses that will be mandatory after surgery.
Sonia has always been a loving and caring family member and a friend to everyone in her life. She never let her health issues get in the way of being an amazing single parent to her four children. The inevitable is now knocking at the door because her kidney function is now at 12%.
While Sonia has health insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered. The first five days after surgery she has a $250 daily copay. Sonia has been told to anticipate upwards of $50,000.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow Sonia to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life.
Sonia has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
