PLEASE HELP JANIS
Janis and her daughter, Michelle, were both diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney and Liver disease in the same year. Michelle was the first to need a kidney transplant and was fortunate to receive one from a loving family member. She lived an additional 12 years before her recent passing due to an illness unrelated to the transplant which enhanced her life in so many ways. Janis was her primary caretaker and now needs your help.

On November 13th I received a call from the Mayo Hospital telling me they had a liver and kidney for me and to come right away. I flew out of Albuquerque on Southwest and had the transplant at 8:00PM on the 13th. My wonderful sister Sandra drove from Soccoro NM and arrived at the Hospital at 7:30 PM just in time to let me know she was here for me. Thanks to her excellent care giving my recovery is going well and I hope to be back in Santa Fe within the next two weeks. It is so nice not to have to resettle in the Phoenix area. I will still need help with my medical expenses and medications. This has been a miracle for me, the staff and everyone at the Mayo Clinic are exceptional and I feel truly blessed to have received this gift of life.
