Hello and thank you for your interest in helping me! I’m one of a set of fraternal triplets, a proud SF Bay Area native with Maori ancestry, and I love BEING ALIVE in this amazing world. My passion is photography and my work has been published around the globe. Check it out here: www.margotduane.com

I’ve been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer called Myelofibrosis. This fatal disease disrupts the body’s normal production of blood cells, which results in extensive scarring in the bone marrow and destruction of the immune system. My only chance for survival is a stem cell transplant, which is slated for April, 2019. I am expected to be in the hospital for a month, followed by three months of 24-hour care while my new immune system grows. It’s uncertain what the timeframe will be before I can return to work.
