Deryl is Santa. He has been doing this for 36 years in the Houston area. He loves playing this part so much. Making kids happy and giving joy to all is all he wants.
Deryl has been in and out of the hospital with heart failure for the past 7 months. He has had an LVAD implanted. Deryl’s wife Deborah is his caretaker and has not been able to work. They now face the expenses of a heart transplant. He is on Medicare and has very little financial help.
Donations made to Help Hope Live will go to help pay Deryl’s medical bills, medicine copays, parking fees for treatment at the hospital, and living expenses. Deryl wants donors to know that by donating, they are helping to get his life back to some kind of normalcy.
Deryl has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
