Hi everyone Ricardo here as most of you know me by my middle name, here asking for your help with contributions towards some out of pocket expenses for a Kidney Transplant that I will be undergoing. Some of you may know already that I was due to receive my transplant on 1/31/2019. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, my transplant will be pushed back for a while longer. I do not have a date yet of when the transplant will take place but we are all hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later. I continue to thank all of you for your continued support and for those who have donated even a small amount it is much appreciated and will help more than you know. Please feel free to continue to share this page in hopes that our goal might be reached. Thank you all. For those who would like to donate and don’t have the link can simply go to https://helphopelive.org and search my last name Arjona and you will see my campaign. You can also type in the link manually https://helphopelive.org/campaign/15045/
Hi Family and friends as many of you may know that since mid 2017 i was diagnosed with Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease and had to change my lifestyle and try to be healthier to slow the progression of the illness. But as of July of 2018 i was moved up to a stage 5 chronic kidney disease or End Stage Renal Disease and had to get started on Dialysis 3 days a week 4 hours a day, as many of you know this takes a lot out of me as i try my best to mange life in general along with work and dialysis, to be honest some days are harder to deal with than others but i somehow manage. It’s been a tough year for myself and my family with everything we had to make some changes in order to manage with all the expenses that come with my illness so far its been tough. The bright side to it is that family members and friends that volunteered to get tested to see if they were a match for a possible kidney transplant. Luckily, my Sister-in-law Alyssa turned out to be a direct match and she has been working hard to get done everything required by Penn Med to be cleared and be able to be a kidney donor to me, which am eternally grateful. We both had a lot of work since last year in order for both of us to be cleared; me as a kidney transplant receiver and her as my donor. We are working on getting the transplant done as soon as the doctors set the date. I am humbly reaching out to everyone thru this media in hopes to raise some funds that will be needed for some of the expenses that are not covered by insurance during and a bit after the surgery while we recover from it while keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes well.
Family and friends of Epifanio Arjona are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
