Aaron is a student at Arkansas State University. He is currently studying vocal music education. In the spring of 2018 Aaron learned that he had stage 4 kidney disease caused by an auto immune disease. He is now waiting for a kidney transplant.
Please help Aaron and his family focus on a successful kidney transplant and healthy recovery without the burden of the overwhelming expenses related to transplant. Even with insurance there are many expenses not covered such as copays, deductibles, travel and lodging near the transplant center as well as a lifetime of anti-rejection medications.
Aaron’s family has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility to the full extent allowed by law for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Thank you for your support!
Over the last year Aaron has had two living donors that did not pan out. He also had two kidney's where he was the secondary recipient. It has been a long, busy journey. Aaron was double listed to give him the best chance for kidney transplant. He was listed at Methodist in Memphis and UAMS in Little Rock. He ended up getting his miracle on February 1st, 2020 at UAMS. He is now two weeks post transplant and doing well. He still has many Doctor's visits, lab draws and medication management to monitor his donor kidney. Aaron is grateful to the donor family for choosing to donate life. We pray for a comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding to touch their hearts. Please continue to join us in prayer for Aaron's continued successful transplant. Thank you to all who have helped spiritually, emotionally and financially on this journey. Much love, The Standridge's
January 17, 2019- Aaron is now listed with UNOS!!! He got the call the same day he had to have a emergency catheter placed for dialysis. After three days of dialysis he is feeling much better. He has started a new chapter on this journey. Life saving dialysis!!! He is back at college, only missing two days. Aaron is one strong and resilient young man. Through his mother's support team at her work, fundraising efforts have been successful. Tomorrow a "Soup"er Lunch for Aaron is planned. Aaron is blessed with family, friends and a great community.
