Help me get a new kidney and pancreas!!

My name is Renee and I’m in need of a kidney/pancreas transplant. My story began when I was just 9 years old, that’s when I found out I had Type 1 diabetes. I’ve now had this horrible disease for almost 32 years and it has taken its toll on my body. My life long battle with this disease and its severe complications have come to a critical point. I celebrated my 40th birthday in the hospital at which point my kidneys failed. I started hemodialysis, a form of treatment for end stage renal disease. Treatment is extremely tiring and demanding. I receive dialysis 3 days a week, each session is 4 hours long where I’m hooked up to a machine that keeps me alive!

I’m reaching out to my family, friends and community to join me in my honor for the nonprofit organization Help Hope Live with the critical expenses I will face before and after receiving a double transplant. Also donations can be made in my honor to help ease the burden of a transplant and allow me to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead with my family, friends and my teenage son, Jayden. Before I can even get put on the transplant waiting list I’m required to have a minimum $6700.
