Family and friends of David Simpson are raising money through the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with medical trauma.

David suffers from unusual life threatening complications following a minimally invasive ablation procedure performed in August. This has necessitated almost round the clock constant bed rest and well over another subsequent 30 medical procedures and the closing of his business. David is now on the national liver transplant list.

Hello, parish family, I'd like to thank you first of all for your prayers. I can feel when you are praying. God has been good to me and has given me back strength and healing to succeed in my upcoming surgery. The doctors are surprised at my resilience but it is not my doing. I miss attending Mass in my parish home and can't wait to be back. At least I get to have my Eucharist regularly. Anyone who has ever had the honer of bringing the eucharist to the homebound knows the healing power of this ministry. There is always a space to fill in our parish for extraordinary ministers so if you think you have the capacity ask about trying this wonderful and fulfilling Ministry.

Secondly , Thank you for the many donations to help us during this difficult time. It is truly humbling seeing the efforts of prayer and unity directed to my small family. You are all right on time.

I look forward to seeing everyone in the near future. Have successful lenten fasting and prayer this Easter season. God Bless and you are in our prayers as well. David Peter (Martella) Simpson

Dear David,
We think of you often and miss you and your lovely wife Dena. Sorry for the missed donation last month due to a fraud alert on our credit card - the card was inactivated. We are now up and running again and hope that our missed payment did not interfere with any of your treatment or care. You continue to be in our prayers and fasting. Thank you for your generosity to us and your kindness to our family when we moved into the parish at St. Paul\'s.
We hope because He is able.
