Auburn Volz

Auburn received her life-saving double lung transplant on October 24, 2016 after a life long battle with cystic fibrosis. Auburn travels to Duke every 4 months for checkups. HHL donations go towards the hotel stay, gas, and medical expenses.

Due to expenses over the past 3 years, she is needing to fundraise some more to keep her transplant fund so she doesn’t have to stress about finances on top of everything else.

Family and friends of Auburn Volz are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

Auburn has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
