Family and friends of Sandra Long are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.

Sandra was struck by a car going 55mph on September 10th, 2016. She suffered a C6 spinal cord injury and over 20 broken bones and is currently paralyzed from the waist down. She also suffered a bed sore during her stay at the hospital which eventually developed into a stage 4 decubitus ulcer and left her in bed for over a year until she was able to get a reconstructive flap surgery. With all that being said and the many set backs over the past 3 years she is finally at a place where she is healthy enough to try to get as much therapy as possible. Unfortunately the insurance company continues to fight her on what they will not pay for including therapy, medical supplies, home care, home modifications, transportation, and everything else associated with her accident.
