I am happily married with 3 wonderful kids. However in 2003 I had a viral infection that attacked my heart. I always knew this day may come, but did not think it would be so soon. Last year my heart failed. I had to get a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) implanted, which is basically a machine that pumps my blood thru my body. I was listed for heart transplant in July 2018 and am currently on the waiting list with many others.

Pepper Construction, Family and Friends of Chris Rayner are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live. This organization helps to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
