Ronald’s first heart attack was at age 40 in 1999. The Doctor told him his heart muscle was giving out. After many hospital stays and medication changes, he still suffered from steadily muscle weakening. At age 53 in 2012, he had a heart bi-ventricular device implanted. This pacemaker/defibrillator was still not able to improve muscle performance. Ronald was put on permanent disability.
Ronald now needs a heart and kidney transplant. Ronald and his family are asking everyone to join in fundraising for the non-profit Help Hope Live to help with transplant related expenses not covered by insurance. His medications alone will be at least $900.00 a month. Donations will help Ronald and his wife Susan with the financial burden of the transplants, and will help Ronald to feel good and healthy again.
Ronald has always been first to volunteer to help others. With your help he will be well enough to be able to volunteer again in the future.
Family and friends of Ronald Poncino are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Ronald has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility to the full extent allowed by law for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
