Two weeks later Bryan was transported by Learjet to Craig Rehab Hospital in Denver. At Craig, Bryan works diligently to regain function and mobility. He pushes the envelope every day surpassing expectations. He gets to use the Lokomat, a robotic locomotor to work on his walking muscles. He has regained some mobility and is optimistic with time and sweat more will come.
Bryan’s a newlywed. He married Chelsea just two weeks before the injury. Chelsea has been continuously by Bryan’s side with love and support and sharing every part of the journey. She’s his #1 superhero.
Bryan is a big guy at 6 feet 4 inches tall. And he’s got a big heart. He’s full of optimism, humor and thoughtfulness. His quick wit and ever-present sense of humor are completely in-tact. He continues to warm the hearts of everyone around him.
For many years Bryan has looked at the top of our heads. That’s where we want him again. Looking over us.
Even with insurance, the cost of Bryan’s care and recovery are significant. For Bryan to go home and thrive, he needs modifications to his home, exercise equipment and a new vehicle. He will have on-going rehabilitation therapy needs.
Donations to Help Hope Lives will help ease the financial burden Bryan and Chelsea are facing and give them a chance to live life as fully as possible.
Bryan’s family and friends have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
