Robert Houston is a native of SC and a residence for forty-nine years. He is a husband, father of 4 and grandfather of 2. He has been a business owner since 2007, after leaving the Upstate Fatherhood Coalition, where his job was to help men and women to prepare for and gain employment. He then started his marketing and consulting business where he works with startups and small businesses to help them grow. He works one on one with people on life skills and relationships as a minister and consultant.
Robert has dedicated most of his life helping others. Then nineteen years ago he was told his lungs were declining and that one day he would need a lung transplant. Well that time has come. His lungs have declined over 70%. He needs financial help for the things his insurance does not cover such as transportation, lodging, food, and copays. He must raise between 20k and 25k and must raise 1k to 2k by April 29th for a week of testing to determine where on the donor list he will go.
Robert has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility to the full extent allowed by law for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
