Family and friends of Wyatt Dennett are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with his catastrophic injury. Wyatt was paralyzed October 2018 after a fall from a third-story balcony, fracturing 4 vertebrae in his neck and spine…
Although Wyatt was initially paralyzed from the neck down, and doctors did not expect him to to regain much function, in a few months he was able to breath without a ventilator, eschew a feeding tube for real food, rotate his head and torso, and recover motion of his right arm. However, when he was ready to leave rehab, the only option was to place him in long-term care at an assisted-living facility for the elderly hundreds of miles away. Not wanting this young man to spend the rest of his life that way, a network of supporters rallied around him. Eileen and Tom Ochsner, the parents of one of Wyatt’s friends, opened their hearts and home to Wyatt. There he receives 24-hour care, only a small portion of which is covered by insurance.
$1.00 PER DAY…
Any and all donations are very much appreciated! Thank you and bless you all! That said, we are encouraging people to consider a Monthly Donation. You’ve probably heard it before… if you can spare just $1 or $5 per day (less than a cup of coffee depending on where you partake) you can make a real difference. Together we can help support this amazing young man.
Wyatt has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Hey Wyatt - great to see you in the videos-you & your team are doing an awesome job doing whatever is necessary to make sure you have the very best opportunities available for your physical & emotional well being. You have always had a lot of heart & a great personality & we all love you - you are an inspiration to all of us. Life is difficult but there is joy to be found & we all have things to be thankful for each and every day. I keep a \"Gratitude Book\" & every nite, I write down the things I was grateful for during that day. We are all grateful for you, call you our miracle & send you our love. We are also very grateful for all our your caretakers & your \"Moms\" - they are an amazing group!
