Jed has had a lifelong struggle with medical problems. At the age of 14 he was diagnosed with leukemia and had a bone marrow transplant. The chemo and radiation treatments have taken a toll on the rest of his body. He has had 2 strokes, 2 heart attacks and now needs a kidney. By luck or maybe fate his fiancee Amy is a match. The transplant will take place on July 31st. Due to the fact that both of them need to be off of work at the same time for awhile it makes it financially difficult for the family of 7.
While Jed does have health insurance, many expenses are not covered like the trips back and forth to Milwaukee for follow up care as well as numerous needed life long prescriptions.
Donations can help ease the financial burden of the transplant and allow Jed to focus on a healthy recovery and his new life with Amy.
