Jay is asking his family and friends and the community to join him in Fundraising for the Non-profit organization Help Hope Live to help cover his critical needs & the expenses he will face on this life long journey in life !!

Immediately following the transplant Jay will need to be close to the Brigham & Women’s Hospital transplant center, he lives in Saco, Maine, so some of the costs he needs help with are lodging near the Transplant Center at Brigham & Womans, daily needs of meals & other medical needs not covered by insurance. Jay will need to be in the Boston area for 2 to 6 months, leaving his home & life in Saco, Maine where he has lived a positive & productive life despite his failing health.

Jay has been battling his Lung disease while working as a Electrician, prior to that he worked as a fisherman out of the Portland, Maine seaport, both trades he needed to give up due to his fading health. Unfortunately Jay’s lungs are wearing out fast and he is in need of help. Jay has health insurance, however many transplant expenses are not covered, such as Anti-Rejection meds needed for life after the transplant. These costs are $ 5,000.00 or more per month, donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a Transplant patient. Any help will allow Jay to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life with his family.

We are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation to help Jay.
