January 14th, 2020 MGH called me and said they have beautiful, healthy lungs for me.
What a beautiful , precious gift the donor has given too me.
My surgery was successful. I spent five weeks in the hospital.
I'm home now and recovering from this surgery.
Although, I do not have my full strength back yet my breathing is amazing and I don't have too struggle for my breathe.
My oxygen tanks are now collecting dust and my grandchildren are counting down the days that I can play with them at the park.
I'm looking forward too walking the beach this summer.
