Our Mother, Sherry (Scott) Brant AKA “Pebbles” has been struggling with Pulmonary Fibrosis for a long time. She was diagnosed first with Scleroderma. As soon as she got it under control, she found out about the fibrosis, and she has been in and out of the hospital since that time. Now, it’s down to needing a lung transplant in order for her to live and continue to be the great, wonderful, caring, guiding, loving, and giving person everyone knows her to be. She is our family leader, and without her we would be lose. She does so much for all of her family. She drives school buses, and all of the kids love and miss her!
Out Mom is like a doctor for her family. No matter what’s wrong, she always finds a way to make it better. She keeps something in her medicine bag for everyone! If not, she prays about it. Either way, we feel better. She prays and reads her bible everyday. She even kisses pictures of her husband, kids, and grand kids. She keeps them near her always. People love to be in her company and she knows how to make people smile.
Coming from a family of 20 kids, and being the youngest, she really knows how to share, and she shares with everyone. We don’t know anyone like her, and she liked everywhere she goes. She is always trying to help someone. She needs help with medicines, temporary relocation, physical therapy, co-pays, and other medical-related expenses.
But now, she needs YOUR help. Please help us keep our mother. She is the glue that keeps us together.
