I was diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency years ago. It is a genetic condition that causes a lack of protein to the lungs and liver. I am now in need of a double lung transplant.
Sadly, I have lost a sister and a brother to this disease. I am asking family and friends to help me in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with expenses after surgery, including the cost of lodging.
I am a mother of three and a grandmother of four. I have a tough road ahead, but I can do this. I would love to be around to watch them all grow. Please help me to be able to enjoy life with my loved ones.
Your donations will help with lodging and aftercare, medications and anything else needed that insurance will not cover.
My goal is $5,000- any and all donations can help me reach that goal!
Family and friends of Deborrah Derricott are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Deborrah has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
