Brenda Helton was born and raised in the Central Florida area. Some of you may know her because you grew up with her, and many of you may know her as “Miss Brenda”. She worked as a school bus driver in Lake County for 12 years, caring for and safely transporting our children to and from school each day. Loving mother, devoted daughter, loyal friend, and beloved bus driver. Brenda has been a blessing to all who know her. Now she needs our help.
In 2006, Brenda was diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis of the Liver (NASH). Brenda has had numerous treatments and visits to doctors and specialists in Orlando and Jacksonville. Unfortunately, all of these treatments have proven to be unsuccessful and costly, and Brenda has been told by her doctors that her only chance for survival is a life-saving liver transplant.
In order to ease the financial burden of this major surgery, a fund-raising campaign in Brenda’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a non-profit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for over 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Southeast Liver Transplant Fund and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. If you wish to help Brenda, please consider making a donation in her honor.

On behalf of the Helton family, we thank you for your kindness and generosity.
