Korageous Conquest

“As a couple, we did all the things required. College degrees, checked. Marriage, checked. Careers, checked. Home, checked. Family, that’s when the list got thrown out the window.

Pulmonary Fibrosis wasn’t even a diagnosis we could spell, but it terrorized our lives and diminished our dreams of starting a family. Through a high-risk pregnancy we were blessed to have a miracle baby. Now we are praying that our faith will see us through to receive a double lung transplant so that we can be parents to our baby.”

Hi to the Korageous Heart reading this. This past week has been such a testimony. We had our first Fun-Praiser! There was so much gratitude and Thanksgivings for life!

Thanks to the collaboration of Glorious African Restaurant and Worship Arts Restoration the event was a success! Patrons had the opportunity to purchase a delicious meal from Glorious Resturant) I heard the Cassava Bread was a hit) and be entertained the dramatization of my journey that I continue to write. I could not have done it without my family and friends.

Thank you for stopping by. Please leave words of encouragement and feel free to share my story.

Please enjoy a clip from Coco reciting Face to Face
