Camila is a 14yr. old girl who needs a transplant so that she can enjoy life like any teenager. She’s a vibrant, very lovable, social, fun girl. She’s is my butterfly and she’s also my warrior. Three years ago her battle began. She was diagnosed with a rare disease called ANCA Vasculitis, which is inflammation of the blood vessels caused by the immune system mistakenly attacking them. In her case, the disease was aggressive, the treatment didn’t work for her and last summer she lost her kidneys and has been on dialysis since.

Even though Camila has had multiple hospitalizations, doctors appointments, labs, suffering pain, high blood pressures, migraine, etc., it has not stop her from working and making good grades and passing all her classes. She’s determined to continue to live and enjoy life.
