Family and friends of Ashley Homa are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.
Ashley is a young and vivacious woman and a dear friend to many people. If you know Ashley, she has inevitably impacted your life in a deep way. In early December, Ashley had a serious fall and is now facing life with a spinal cord injury. The road to recovery will be long and strenuous. Ashley and her loved ones are seeking support for their long journey towards rehabilitation. We believe in Ashley’s strength and tenacity. If you know her, you know she is a fighter!

Ashley has now moved to a rehab facility. She is fighting harder every day to recover. She is undergoing long and tough physical and occupational therapy. She is gaining more range of motion on her right side and is now on a smaller trach tube which allows her to speak a little better. She is keeping high spirits and appreciates everyone’s support!

Yesterday Ashley gained more range of motion in her left foot and leg. She was also able to close her left hand a bit and move her thumb! She still does not have much movement on the right side. She is also on a breathing trial with her tracheotomy and doing great! She is maintaining a positive attitude through all of this. We are so proud of her!
