Nirva is in need of a heart transplant…she was diagnosed with end stage heart disease and, although she has a heart pump, she is getting to the stage where it is no longer enough.
Nirva Joseph age 58 is a loving mother of 4 and staple in the community and service to church. Nirva’s entire existence has been constructive and beneficial to those around her regardless of her persistent health situation. She has not allowed her health condition to be an obstacle or downfall to attaining her vision of helping the community through early childhood education. Unfortunately, due to her health conditions worsening Nirva had to pause in her education to pursue medical support.
Nirva’s optimistic view of life kept away a feeling of hopelessness for quite a while. There are still a lot of basic life expenses that Nirva is not able to meet due to not being able to work and function in the same way she used to. Even though Nirva has insurance, there are numerous transplant expenses that are not by insurance and the costs are prohibitive for Nirva and her loved ones.
