My name is Jocelyn and I have kidney disease.

I was born with an autoimmune disease called FSGS.
I didn’t find out about my condition till I was 5 months pregnant. I was told that my son would not make it or I could have complications and my health was at risk. I had to be hospitalized for 3 months and start dialysis. From getting poked 2-3 times every day, sitting through 4 hours of dialysis, and making sure I was staying on top of my medications it was all worth it. Through it all I maintained an optimistic spirit. My son was born on November 10th with no complications thanks to all of the hard work from the doctors and nurses. In the future I plan on getting a kidney transplant.

I will be needing help financially with medical expenses. Your donations will help with hospital costs, medications, transportation to treatment, deductibles, medical equipment and supplies. By donating to my cause you will be helping me live a full healthy life with my family. With a new kidney I will be able to see my son grow up. From the bottom of my heart thank you!
