Help Christina receive a lifesaving liver transplant!

Christina Rivera, 56, was born in San Diego. She was a single mother of three (Elizabeth, 35; Albert, 33; Veronica, 28) for 22 years and is now a grandmother of three (Mark, 12; Anthony, 11; Jacob, 7.) She and her family relocated to Whitefish, Montana in 1999 where she worked as an Optician for 25 years and purchased a family home.

Two and a half years ago Christina was diagnosed with Hepatic Cirrhosis which is cirrhosis of the liver caused by medication. She has been in and out of the hospital since then with symptoms of liver failure. Christina and her family are fundraising money for an uninsured liver transplant and the medical bills that accompany it. Due to the extremely high risk nature of the procedure, she must travel back and forth from Montana to California to see a transplant specialist.

Hi family and friends I just wanted to give everyone a update how things are going. It was difficult at first but been getting better every day. Things are a little tough staying at the family house. But can’t leave until the doctor give me the okay. It’s looking like we will not be able to go home until October or November. And we are running out of the money we saved up for this new being. If any of you can spare anything to help us make it through this journey we would appreciate it. Thank you for prays and and support. I appreciate you all.
