She is still currently in rehab and making continued progress. The hope is to get back home and to work. With this injury there have been many expenses that she has incurred. This campaign would help to pay for medical bills, equipment such as a standing frame, added wheelchair equipment, and home modifications. Also I will eventually need to purchase a modified vehicle.
Family and friends of Nicole Hausmann are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.
Nicole has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Thank you for your support!
I have been home now for several months. Still getting acclimated to this new life. Thanks again to everyone that has donated and helped me out!!! The bills definitely keep coming and there’s always more things that I need! So I appreciate everything so much!
Thank you to everyone who has helped so far we truly appreciate it! We are working towards raising funds currently for her vehicle modifications so that Nicole can drive her van. She will be going home in the next few months and it will be very important for her to be able to drive herself to appointments and therapies once home and having the Independence she so greatly deserves! Any amount is appreciated!
We have recently discussed finalizing Nicole's home modifications and this is going to cost $17,000 or more. Also to purchase a new converted vehicle with modifications specific to Nicole will cost $50,000 to $60,000. Nicole is still at QLI doing her rehab but we are unsure how long insurance will allow her to stay there. Once home she will have approximately $5,000/month out of pocket home health costs. Then she has limited outpatient coverage once she leaves QLI and her continuing this therapy is key to her long term recovery! We are hoping persons can help with her reaching her goal for funding to give her a good start. Thanks to all who have donated so far!
