One of Lauren’s greatest achievements in life, was having our daughter Lily. In 2007, Lily was born with a heart defect and was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Her medical needs, along with Lauren’s, have been a huge financial burden, and have made us realize the importance of living within our means. Lauren’s greatest wish was for Lily to not have the same stress in her life associated with expensive life saving medical procedures. It was her wish to have the remainder of her available funds raised through Help Hope Live to go to Lily, to now assist her.
Family and friends of Lily Arkens are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Lily has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
