Bill has been battling COPD since 2013. Earlier this month, he received “the gift of life” with the priceless donation of lungs. Although insured, there are many expenses that are not covered. Critical needs such as, post-transplant housing for rehab, transportation, tolls, parking fees, meals, hospital and medical copays, etc.
Bill is married to his high school sweetheart, Gina, for 36 years. He is a loving father of 3 girls and “Pop” to 3 grandchildren. Bill has been unable to be a part of their lives for too long and has missed so many milestones. Soccer games, Friday night football, baseball, amusement parks, etc.
While Bill and Gina are able to maintain their home, the extra expenses will be quite a burden. His wife must take a leave of absence from her job to care for Bill and temporarily relocate to be near the hospital and transplant team.
Please consider donating to help ease their burden. Bill, Gina & their children (who are all organ donors) are eternally grateful to the donor family for entrusting them with such a beautiful gift. Please help Bill to live his best life with his family, friends and his “best bud” Murphy the boxer!
William has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
