All my life I’ve had challenges. I have Cerebral Palsy but I have dreams and goals like everyone else. Sometimes I need a helping hand to achieve those goals.
I would like to become more independent and an adaptive vehicle would help me take the next steps to my dreams and goals of furthering my education.
I received my degree after 11 years, but I want to continue moving forward with my education in child life and health. An adaptive vehicle would give me a level of independence that I currently don’t have.
My insurance does not cover everything needed, the adaptive vehicle, a service dog, medical equipment, supplies and more
I helped my single mother with my youngest sister and brother whom my family adopted after 8 years of fostering. I took breaks between school to help out. This led to my dreams and goals of giving back. People said that I would’nt achieve College but I did. Now, I’d like help other children with disabilities set their goals and achieve their dreams. I’d love to foster children again.
The donations would help achieve my independence and with my wheelchair and getting an adaptive vehicle and more. I dream of being able to get a job and work to help others.
My family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in my honor Tara Herman, to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.
I chose to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the GIVE button. And please share my page so others may consider a donation.
