Family and friends of Tim Calamia are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.

Tim has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.

Since August of 2015 my husband Tim has had complications from diabetes and as a result has had to have his left leg amputated. They tried to save the leg but were unable to do so. Since 2015 his health has declined and has recently lost his other leg. He was diagnosed with AFIB, Congestive Heart Disease and COPD. During this year he has been in and out of the hospital due to complications from the latest amputation. He has spent many days/hours in the ICU and Rehab facilities.

He has a long road of recovery with working on double prosthetics. We would love to get to a place to be able to have a mobility vehicle to provide some normalcy back to his life, as well as transportation for health visits. Tim loves to fish and be outdoors enjoying nature- with being a double amputee it is hard for him to enjoy these things. He currently needs to have someone with him most of the day for meal preparation and medication delivery. As you can imagine this has put a huge strain on his wife who still must work full time while also trying to support Tim.

As we are preparing for the next phase of his care, we need your support more than ever. Donations to Help to Hope Live can ease the financial burden Tim and his family are facing as well as giving Tim a chance to live his live as normal and full as possible.
