My mother Carmeleta desperately needs your help.

Carmeleta’s battle with kidney disease is reaching a critical point. My mother is currently in Stage 5 of this kidney disease (LAST STAGE) and is on home dialysis 7 days a week. We are searching for a donor for a kidney transplant and help with expenses that occur during and after this procedure. We are asking family and friends to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses Carmeleta will face immediately after her transplant

Carmeleta has always lived a positive and productive life despite her chronic health condition. She has never let health challenges get in the way of achieving her dreams-from being a mother and a grandmother and in general just thankful for life itself it is truly a gift from God. Carmeleta’s positive attitude and lifestyle (quitting smoking which was tough due to the effects it has on people with the disease) helped her to avoid the inevitable for a period of time, but now kidney is only functioning at 05% and she needs our help.
