On October31, 2016, I had a massive heart attack, a widow maker.

I went into cardiac arrest 5 times that day and had about a 20% chance of making it through the night. This resulted in me having congestive heart failure.

In February of 2018, I had an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) placed. It’s basically a heart pump and that’s what is keeping me alive. In February of 2019, my LVAD got a clot. They took me to surgery to do a pump exchange. The surgery did not go well. I was in surgery almost 20 hours in 2 days. After the first day of surgery they put me on life support and told my family they didn’t expect me to make it through the night. Some time during those 2 days I had a stroke. I was told I wouldn’t make it through another surgery if my pump clotted again.

I want to thank everyone that's donated, shared my story and for all the prayers.

I'm in the hospital right now. I'm having power issues with my heart pump. If I haven't received a heart by June 1 they will replace my pump. I need all the prayers I can get. Thank you
