Family and friends of Leiya Orellana are raising money for this nonprofit to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

On May 10, 2012, Leiya was born and diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. She spent her first year in the hospital and had to undergo many procedures. Thankfully, she received a life-saving double lung transplant at CHOP. However, due to the side effects of the immunosuppressive medication, she developed liver cancer. Defying the odds, Leiya continues to light up any room with her beautiful and infectious smile while fighting the battle of her life. From going to the pool and playing in the park to taking a trip to Disney and receiving dancing lessons, she wishes to carry positivity through her hardships. Currently, Leiya is going through Chemotherapy which will take yet another financial toll on her family. Any type of donation will go towards expenses such as medical bills, mortgage payments, utility bills, and other costs of living. Thanks to the Help Hope Live platform, my fundraiser will be able to support this precious angel and her family through their tough journey and generate awareness towards organ donation.

Leiya is still fighting… our strong angel was able to receive another life-saving transplant, this time a liver, after battling liver cancer. !!!! Unfortunately !!!! , just recently, cancer has resurfaced in her transplanted lung and liver. The Orellana family needs our help more than ever right now. No donation is too small. There is no doubt in my mind this tough little girl will persevere through her hardships. All she needs right now is our support.
