Its been a year off hell on dialysis. After having a port called a fistula put into my arm a vein was nicked that caused me to not be able to feel my hand, so next surgery took a vein from my leg and transplanted it into my arm. I got blood back to my hand but no feeling so adapting to life with that. Then I had to have stints put into my veins to hold open for dialysis 4 surgeries. The last one killed it, so I now have a port in my upper chest again. Surgery to put a plastic graft into my arm to have an access for dialysis, surgeon is not sure how long this will last. So Im hoping for a kidney transplant sooner then later.
