David was an accomplished freestyle skier, but on September 9, 2011, while executing a flip on his trampoline, David landed on his neck, fracturing his C4 and C5 vertebrae. David’s accident left him a quadriplegic, and his life has been dramatically changed. Family and friends of David Hudgik are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with his spinal cord injury. Click the donate button above to make a donation today.

David's #1 goal right now is to raise funds for an accessible vehicle equipped so that he can drive it. This is an expensive endeavor, but it will be life changing for David. Driving means independence, freedom and personal satisfaction.

The cost for a vehicle equipped for a quadriplegic is about $60,000. You donated more than $4,000 through last year’s August fundraiser. Thank you! This year’s goal is $10,000, but David can’t do it without your help.

David faces many obstacles as he strives for a semi-independent lifestyle. It is through your generous contributions and participation in fundraising events in honor of David that he is able stay headed in a positive direction.
