David Hudgik is a talented, young athlete. With years of practice and dedication, David became an accomplished freestyle skier. David’s accident left him a quadriplegic, and his life has been dramatically changed. At the time of the accident David was just 16 years old, an age when most teenagers are learning to become more independent. Now he is dependent on others for everything. David’s #1 goal right now is to raise funds for an accessible vehicle equipped so that he can drive it. Driving means independence, freedom and personal satisfaction. This is an expensive endeavor, but it will be life changing for David.

David’s #1 goal right now is to raise funds for an accessible vehicle equipped so that he can drive it. This is an expensive endeavor, but it will be life changing for David. Driving means independence, freedom and personal satisfaction.
The cost for a vehicle equipped for a quadriplegic is about $60,000. You donated more than $4,000 through last year’s August fundraiser. Thank you! This year’s goal is $10,000, but David can’t do it without your help.
David faces many obstacles as he strives for a semi-independent lifestyle. It is through your generous contributions and participation in fundraising events in honor of David that he is able stay headed in a positive direction.
