Marlene (Bantilan) Vashishta is a former employee of the FBI in Washington D.C., Maui County Council, District Court and Family Court of the Third Circuit. She is a Volunteer Committee Member for Hawaii Arts and Crafts, as well as volunteering for various other nonprofit organizations.
Marlene is now in kidney failure and needs a transplant to survive. In order to receive dialysis, she has faced many difficult obstacles including numerous surgeries. The only viable solution is to receive a kidney transplant.
Despite her condition and challenges, Marlene has always portrayed a positive attitude, a happy-go-lucky nature, and a zest for life. While Marlene currently has insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered. The Transplant Center projects upwards of $5,000 per month for noncovered medical and related expenses.
We are asking family and friends to join us by donating for Marlene through the nonprofit “Help Hope Live” to help with critical noncovered expenses. “Help Hope Live” assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and all contributions are tax deductible. Contributors can be assured donations will be used to pay or reimburse noncovered medical and related expenses.
To make a tax-deductible donation, click on to the GIVE button.
For more information, contact “Help Hope Live” at (800) 642-8399.
We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support.
