In 1984, I was hit in my head by a batted softball. I developed a blood clot the size of a large apple and had surgery to remove it. I was comatose for three weeks and remained in the hospital for 11 weeks total. With time, I regained the ability to walk with a cane. Moving on down this trail known as life, I attended Mississippi State University, where I was active in Phi Mu Fraternity, was a Phi Gamma Delta Little Sister, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, emphasizing Public Relations.

Today I had the follow-up appointment to discuss my labs/hormone levels. Everything looked fine except.all of my hormones levels are so low that they were immeasurable. Nate, my nurse practitioner, said he'd never seen that. So when I visit my PCP, she should be able to start working on that and it will be easier for her to monitor things locally.

For treatment, my doctor told me about a world class clinic in Florida where we even had an appointment, but after considering every angle, i.e. financial stresses, distance, Paul having to take indefinite leave from his job, we decided to check out a clinic closer. We recently had an appointment and are looking into it further. We would appreciate your prayers.
