Amara has had a crazy year. He learned he suddenly had heart failure and received a transplant. However Amara is struggling with having safe housing to recover and succeed post-transplant.
Amara has worked hard all his life to support himself and never slowed down, ready to do everything he needs to have a good life and take care of himself and his new heart. Amara’s apartment recently received water damage which led to an infection he was able to overcome. However, it is not safe for Amara to return to his apartment. Amara needs help covering temporary and safe housing as he secures a permanent, long-term and safe home.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden and help ease the financial burden while Amara is taking care of himself and his new heart.
Family and friends of Amara Diarrassouba are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Amara has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
