Family and friends of David Remy are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Injury.

My name is David. I work in the transportation industry as a parts manager. I have a passion for automobiles. In my spare time I really enjoy watching movies and spending time with my friends and family.

In August 2018, I was diagnosed with a Thoracic Spondolosis with Myelopathy resulting in trouble walking, leg numbness and reliance on a wheelchair. My doctors recommended an exoskeleton as part of my ongoing treatment of this chronic condition. An exoskeleton enables those with spinal cord injury a new level of functional independence and upright mobility in their home and community. In short, means an exoskeleton would help me walk again. Exoskeleton’s are relatively new technology and are not covered by insurance, which is why we are asking for your help.

I used to do physical therapy at the same facility as you and recall seeing you there work so hard. I didn’t know your story until now as I read about it in a magazine. It has touched my heart and I admire your strength and courage. I pray you reach your goal soon and may God Bless!
