I am Holly May and am writing this for my aunt Tanya. This is for a fundraiser for my sweet aunt Tanya who is needing a lung transplant, along with her story. Anything helps, even if it is just a prayer or a share! Thank you!
I’m here today with some exciting news. The last time we posted about my aunt Tanya, we asked for prayers. And because of all the love that was sent to God’s ears, we received some pretty amazing news.
For those who don’t know, Tanya is my aunt who has Williams Syndrome. Williams syndrome has meant severe cardiovascular and respiratory problems for her. These last few months she has suffered tremendously and we were heartbroken to watch her struggle.
It is with gratitude and a very full heart that I can finally announce the news we have been so anxiously awaiting. Tanya is officially accepted for a double lung transplant that will help to extend and ultimately save her life.
We are so thankful and so hopeful that she will have many years ahead of her and with all of us.
Luckily Tanya has insurance to help cover the cost of the procedure. However, my mon, great grandmother, grandfather, aunts and Tanya and I will have many trips to and from Houston pre procedure as well as having to live in Houston for several months to a year while she recovers and adapts to her new lungs.
Unfortunately, travel, living costs, and additional medical bills won’t be covered. The reality is, this is something we can’t afford out of pocket and we would like to again ask the community to assist us in saving her life.
No amount is too small and we appreciate anything you do because prayers are just as important as donations. We love and thank you
all so much!
Family and friends of Tanya Brannies are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation. Tanya has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses.

All of y’all’s prayers have worked! My sweet aunt Tanya is waiting for her double lung & heart transplant, which can be happening any day now. She is in ICU at Houston Methodist and will be there until she receives the transplant. Thank you all again for praying for the sweetest soul. In the comments will be a link to her full story and her fundraiser. Any prayer, donation & share is greatly appreciated.❤️
