Gosh, where do I start…I’ve entered the threshold of end-stage Cystic Fibrosis. It’s been 39 long years of a lifetime filled with life-sustaining medications, breathing treatments, insulin, and infections sometimes resulting in hospitalizations. It’s nearly six years since you lost your battle at the tender age of 29, but now I completely understand how you felt. The tiredness each and every day is becoming exhausting and relentless. Coughing spells accompanied with shortness of breath have become more frequent and have led to more infections. My lung function was dropped to 22% with my weight also plummeting.
